Phantoms Preview
Well after yet another loss last weekend, the Wolves will look to bounce back against the Phantoms. In the last contest between the two teams the Phantoms found themselves one up, winning 3-2 back on December 8th. The T-Wolves are looking for their second win of the year and have been playing better as of late which should result in a good game on Saturday. The game goes at 5:15 in Ste. Agathe. With only four games remaining the Wolves almost need to run the table in order to save what has been a dismal season. Well on the other hand the T-Wolves do have triple the points they did last season which means next season they should have a minimum of 9 points even if they do not get anymore this season. According to this stat, by the way the team is progressing, in two years this team should be get 81 points. (Landon better talk to the Commissioner about getting more games so that this can at least be mathematically possible). The Wolves offence has been getting a little better lately but still does not have the consistency it needs to contend with some of the other teams in the league. If Mark would guarantee to score as many points as he did last game(5) in every game then maybe we could get back in the winning column. We will just have to wait and see. On a side note Tim Thiessen might have guaranteed a victory this weekend. I will ask him and convince him to if he has not. Talk about bulletin board material for the Phantoms, what is that goaltender thinking.
